Northern Ireland Student Homes is a web site with dynamic content. This means that each property page is created, when requested by a user, using information stored in a database. This means that a separate page does not need to be designed for each property as would be required on a static site. The property listings can be updated from the web site or using a database application such as Access.

The site is implemented using Microsoft's ASP (Active Server Pages) technology and is hosted by ourselves.

During the design, there has been a strong focus on ideologies of clarity of communication, fast load times through hand written, well engineered, DHTML, Java & ASP code.

The design guidelines of naturalness, consistency, non-redundancy, supportiveness and flexibility have been given careful consideration throughout the entire design cycle.
